+++ KannibalFest October is: Territories +++

An approach to the issue of borders, migration and our connection to the land.
We started the month (October 8th) with an evening dedicated to the Amazon. Films from Brazil and Colombia, a panel discussion with cartographies from the territory and a Q&A with director Tainá de Luccas from Brazil.
This past weekend 19. October we had a cinema room at the 1st Dirty Immigrant Festival at Køpi with films from Bolivia and Colombia.
Closing with a work filmed by the Arhuaco community about their connection with water and cosmos

Films: Wisdom Teeth (2017), Firmamentum Continuitas (2016) and Die Versteinerten (2015).
A film trilogy that deals with the relationship between death and the idea of preservation as a cultural value. It is also a dialogue between science and religion, therefore it plays with the tension between opposite ideologies.

A summer’s day in contemporary Bosnia, twenty years after the last war. A land that conveys the cosy illusion of being at peace enjoying seemingly eternal harmony is basically a country that is also standing still.
Being the only witness of the secret plan of her favourite aunt Ljilja, Maja takes a major new step in her life.
